Welcome to your home of municipal golf
We are a community of golfers united by a love for the game, friendly competition, and the best municipal course in the Pacific Northwest.
The West Seattle Golf Club was founded by a group of passionate local golfers who wanted more than just a round of golf — they wanted to build community. What started as informal matches and tournaments has grown into one of Seattle's most active and welcoming golf clubs.
We are not affiliated with the course management. We are the players — organizing tournaments, building friendships, and keeping the competitive spirit alive at West Seattle Golf Course. Whether you're a scratch golfer or a new to the game, WSGC is your home course community.

Originally established in 1940, West Seattle Golf Course has been a beloved fixture of the community for over eight decades. While the course and the club has evolved, our welcoming character remains.
Few municipal courses in the country offer panoramic views of snow-capped mountains and open water. Several holes play along ridgelines with stunning sightlines in every direction.
The course is publicly owned and operated by Premier Golf. WSGC members enjoy the same access as all players, enhanced by our organized events and community.
At over 6,600 yards from the tips, West Seattle is a legitimate test of golf. Tight tree-lined fairways, undulating greens, and strategic bunkering reward smart play.
Thanks to the Pacific Northwest's mild climate, the course stays open nearly every day of the year. Winter golf is real — and WSGC members embrace it fully.
This isn't a country club course — it's a people's course. And that's exactly what makes it special. WSGC brings the club experience to public golf.
